Question 4 evaluation kayla

When it came to using digital technology we used a lot of different types of programs. We used Blogger for the research and planning, Final cut pro to edit our film, InDesign to write our review and I used Prezi to answer a question in the evaluation.

When using Blogger the benefits were we had somewhere we could all access from home to write and publish what we had done in the sessions when planning the stages of our film. We could add pictures and videos It helped us document what we did and how we did it and it also us lay out what we had done and what we had to get done by a certain time. It helped with giving ourselves our own personal deadlines to reach, due to the dates next to each post.

I found blogger difficult to use when it came to format as the format of our blog is really hard to read and its difficult to find the linked blogs due to the layout.

When using Final cut I found that this was the most fun part as it allowed us to actually put our ideas together when creating the film. We could see all the footage we had and once we labelled all of our clips it became easier and easier as the film came together on the screen. It only became difficult when it couldn’t find certain clips due to the clip being moved out of certain folders and mainly just organisation problems we had.

When using InDesign to do the review I found it a lot easier as when typing, the program would aline the words and show you the measurements meaning we could make our review almost identical to an actual little white lies review. The only problem I had with this was the time it took to load up every time I used it.

Finally when using Prezi I found it simple and quick. It had hardly any restrictions. Lots of templates to work from and it would let me add and remove different slides wherever I wanted and once adding a new slide in, the text box tool was so simple to use as the font etc was already all set up.

  1. Well done, you met the deadline.
It is underdeveloped in places, but you still posted.
Forget about it now - it has been a long, difficult and at times frustrating journey, but its over now.
